Effortless Overnight Waves

A Quick and Easy Bun Trick

I love doing heatless curls after I wash my hair, but I decided to try something different: a messy bun to see if I could get great waves with even less effort. Spoiler alert—it worked, and I was pretty happy with the results! Here’s how I got soft, attractive waves overnight with almost no time spent in the morning.

The Process:

1. Start with Dry Hair: After washing and drying my hair, I decided to give this messy bun technique a shot.

2. High Ponytail: First, I tied up all my hair into a high ponytail using a scrunchie.

3. Roll It Up: Then, with another scrunchie, I rolled the rest of my hair and secured it on top of my head.

4. Spray Lightly: For the best results, I sprayed a little bit of water over the bun. This helps to create waves without making the hair too wet, ensuring it dries out during the night.

5. Sleep Tight: That’s it! I slept on it all night, and in the morning, I let it down to see the magic.

The Results:

When I took the bun down in the morning, I had loose, beautiful waves that looked effortless. I just curled a few ends that needed some touch-up and fluffed it up for volume. Quick, easy, and very little effort—just the kind of style I love for busy mornings!
