Super fluffy goodness!

Growing up, my mom made what she called French Pancakes all the time. It was one of those cozy, comforting breakfasts that made the whole house smell amazing. Years later, I realized this dish is actually known as a German Pancake or Dutch Baby, but to me, it will always be Mom’s French Pancake. It’s fluffy, buttery, and slightly crisp around the edges—absolutely perfect with syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.
Now, let’s get to making it!
Ingredients:
• 6 tbsp butter
• 5 eggs
• 2 cups milk
• 1 cup flour
• ½ tsp vanilla (optional, but I love it!)
• Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. Prepare the pan: Take a 9×13 glass baking dish and cut about 6 tablespoons of butter into pieces, scattering them around the pan.

3. Melt the butter: Place the pan in the oven while it preheats, allowing the butter to melt completely.
4. Make the batter: In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs well. Add the milk and whisk again. Then, gradually whisk in the flour until smooth. If you’re using vanilla and salt, add those now.

5. Pour and bake: Take the hot pan with melted butter out of the oven, then pour the batter right on top.

6. Bake for about 25 minutes, until the pancake puffs up beautifully and turns golden brown.

7. Serve and enjoy: Cut into slices and serve warm with syrup, powdered sugar, fruit, or even a sprinkle of cinnamon.

This recipe is simple but so delicious, and every time I make it, I think of my mom. Whether you call it a French Pancake, German Pancake, or Dutch Baby, I hope you love it as much as I do!
