Bringing More Warmth to My Easter Decor | Easter Decorating Part Two

A couple of weeks ago, I decorated my home for Easter, but this year was different—I decided to use only yellow and purple in my decor. Yellow daffodils for early spring and purple for the royalty of Jesus set the tone for my Easter theme. While I loved how everything came together, I quickly realized something was missing.

Because this was my first year focusing on these colors, I didn’t have as many decorations as usual. I especially noticed a lack of purple tablecloths and doilies, but I had plenty of plain white ones. Instead of buying more, I decided to dye what I already had! It was such a fun and budget-friendly way to bring more warm purple hues into my home, and I loved how it all started coming together.

I also had a blue Easter egg that didn’t quite fit the color scheme, so I gave it a fresh coat of purple paint—a simple change that made a huge difference in tying everything together!

Then, there was my stove—a bare spot that was just begging for some Easter charm. That’s when I decided to get creative with AI. I generated a painted crocus design, printed it on regular paper, and transformed some junk wood into a beautiful, handmade art piece. I mod-podged the printed image onto the wood, cut it to size, and added a small hanging hook. It turned out so perfect, and I love how it fills that empty space with even more Easter warmth!

One final change I made was letting go of my pastel Easter lights. They just didn’t match the cozy, warm Easter vibe I was going for this year, so I decided to keep things simple and let the rich purples and bright yellows shine on their own.
