If you’re anything like me, you love turning simple, everyday items into something beautiful and one-of-a-kind. This week, I created a charming farmhouse-style tabletop decor piece that started with pallet board wood and some empty Starbucks glass coffee bottles. It was one of those projects that just came together.
🌿 From Pallet Board to Pretty Box

First, I built a small wooden box using pallet boards. I kept it rustic and just nailed the pieces together—no fancy joinery, just good old-fashioned elbow grease!

I originally liked the natural wood color, but there were a few small imperfections I wanted to hide.
So, I gave it a coat of white paint. But you know how that sometimes goes—it ended up feeling too white, too new, not quite the warm rustic look I was after. So I grabbed some brown paint and layered it over.

🎨 Stenciled Details That Made It Pop

To add some charm and texture, I used a stencil to paint a cute white design on the box. Just a little detail, but it made such a difference. It softened the piece while still letting the layered wood tones show through underneath.
☕ Starbucks Bottles Turned Vases

I had five empty Starbucks glass coffee bottles just waiting for a purpose. I painted them white to match the box, then wrapped some brown string around the tops for texture and a little extra rustic touch. I secured the string with hot glue—easy and quick!

I added some faux greenery to each bottle, just simple stems I had on hand. Once I placed the bottles in the wooden box, everything came together. It looked like a beautiful centerpiece straight out of a boutique!

🏡 The Finished Look

Now this piece is sitting on my table, and it brings me so much joy every time I walk by. It’s a mix of reclaimed, rustic, and refined, and best of all, it didn’t cost me much—just time, creativity, and a little paint.

What I Used:
Pallet wood Nails and hammer
brown paint Stencil + white acrylic paint
5 Starbucks glass coffee bottles
Brown twine or string
Hot glue gun
Faux greenery stems
This would make a perfect centerpiece for a farmhouse kitchen table, an entryway, or even a shelf. Plus, it’s totally customizable—try different stencils, bottle colors, or seasonal greens to switch it up!
Let me know if you try something similar—I’d love to see your version! 💚
