🎄 Christmas

My decorating year always starts with Christmas. I decorate on Black Friday—not a day before, not a day after. It’s become my own little tradition, and it makes the holiday season feel special and well-timed. Everything comes down December 26th, though, because I love making space for winter decor right after.

❄️ Winter
Winter is cozy and calm—snow, birch trees, pinecones, evergreens. I skip the red and keep everything neutral and natural. Winter usually lasts only a few weeks because by mid-January, I’m ready to move on to…
❤️ Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s is one of my absolute favorites—reds, roses, hearts, and romance everywhere! It’s such a cheerful and warm transition after the soft tones of winter.
🍀 St. Patrick’s Day

Starting February 15th, everything shifts to St. Patrick’s Day. My style here is more muted and farmhouse-inspired—shamrocks, greenery, and a hint of gold for a touch of charm without being too loud.
✝️ Easter

I begin decorating for Easter on March 18th. For me, Easter and spring are separate. Easter focuses on faith, resurrection, and renewal, with purples for royalty, yellows for daffodils, and crosses as a centerpiece.
🌷 Spring

The day after Easter, I transition to spring—pinks, light blues, and lots of florals. I love how this season brings so much brightness and freshness into the home.
🇺🇸 Patriotic (Memorial Day – 4th of July)

Right before Memorial Day weekend, everything shifts to red, white, and blue. I keep up the patriotic look through the 4th of July, celebrating both Memorial Day and Independence Day.
🌻 Summer

On July 5th, I go full summer mode—sunflowers everywhere! Warm yellows and greens make the house feel sunny and happy through mid-August.
🍎 Back to School

Starting around August 15th, I decorate for “Back to School.” Think apples, chalkboard touches, and cozy early fall vibes. It’s a short but super fun in-between season that leads perfectly into…
🍁 Fall & Thanksgiving

From mid-September until Black Friday, it’s all about fall leaves, pumpkins, and warm, rich colors. This is my favorite season to decorate for—it feels like home. Then, as soon as Thanksgiving ends, the whole cycle begins again with Christmas. 🎄
